The IE Mommy

If I had a mountain I would be shouting from the very top… “pinktooth rocks!”
Readers of The IE Mommy know that I love the chicBuds products. Each and every item that I have reviewed for them has been beyond my expectations. You can read my earphone review “here”
Their earphones are beyond sensational! I have quite a few pair and having enjoyed giving them away as gifts. Everyone loves them!
When I was asked to review the Pink Tooth. I didn’t jump at the chance I catapulted from a chair for the chance.
I have to take a deep breath in order to type as fast as I am thinking right now. Let’s talk about the technical reasons as to why the Pink Tooth is so phenomenal.
• Talk time: up to 6 hours.
• Standby time: up to 200 hours.
• 2 color LED.
• Rechargeable Li-Polymer Battery
• Light weight and crystal clear sound.
I really did the mommy “trial run” on the Pink Tooth. I called everyone I knew while testing this wireless set. When I told them that I was using a hand-free wireless set…everyone’s comment? “Wow, I thought you were at home.”
I am so easily irritated with headphones and hand free sets. Most, have a lot of static and are not very clear. I find myself yelling in order to be heard. Which, of course, stresses me out. As excited as I was to try the Pink Tooth…I was a little worried that the clarity would be a problem.
I should have known better. There is no need to worry about the clarity of the Pink Tooth. I have received crystal clear sound every time.
The set comes with three different sized ear bud cushions, an ear attachment and a charger. The package tin is a perfect place to keep everything together in your purse or car.
The wireless set size makes it discreet enough that you don’t look like a member of Star Trek while out running errands, shopping or at work. (P.S. I love Star Trek….but you know what I mean, right?)

Review & Giveaway: ChicBuds
When I was a kid, I went every where with my walkman and headphones. It continued on into college, and beyond, when I would walk to work or take the bus, I had my headphones on. I was so excited when the Ipods came out - I didn't have to lug around CDs (or cassettes... I am showing my age there!) and it was so much easier when I was traveling! Nowadays, I still have my Ipod glued to my ears, just not as loud. ;)
I remember getting annoyed years back when I bought that first Ipod and all I could find were very boring plain white ear buds. They so didn't match me!
So you can imagine my glee when I first saw chicBuds!
ChicBuds are decorated ear bud style headphones. They are compatible with pretty much everything that uses a standard ear phone jack, even your laptop, so you don't have to have an Ipod branded MP3 player to use them.
What I LOVE is that chicBuds have a built-in retractor so that the cords will not tangle. I cannot tell you how many times I have been frustrated at the cords of my other headphones being tangled in my purse or backpack. There are also 5 stopping points so you can adjust the length if you want to attach them to an armband or the inside of your jacket. Even better? They have a clip so you can easily find them in your bag, and to stop them from bouncing around! This makes them great for working out, traveling, or just every day use.
All of the chicBuds have nearly 100 Swarovski crystal pieces! That's a lot of shimmer! Mine are the black/marshmellow, which goes perfect with my silver ipod! (I have a thing for silver if you didn't already know) They arrive in a cute little cloth bag, perfect for gift giving.
You can see in the last photo that it's clipped to my purse (that seems to make a rare appearance these days - sigh!)
The guys in your life don't have to be left out, either. They also have a line called RockBuds, featuring designs such as camo and nautical stars (Hmmm... maybe I need a pair of those too, since they match my purse!)

I love my pink iPod but the plain ear buds that came with it are less than desirable. I wanted ear buds with a lot of glam, and of course Pink! So I could not believe my eyes when I found chicBuds. They are genuine Swarovski Crystal adorned earphones that come in a range of colors and limited edition styles!
chicBuds have a built in retractable cord so they don't tangle like tradition cords. And the retractor even has 5 stopping points to adjust to your desired length. chicBuds are compatible with iPod, MP3 Player, Walkmen, Airplane Connectors, DVD Players, and Cell Phones. The chicBuds even have a built in clip to fasten to clothing while running or working out.
I was lucky enough to give the black chicBuds with the watermelon color a try. I have to say they match my pink iPod perfectly! The ear buds don't hurt my ears like some of the others do. And they seem to stay in my ears while walking. (I have not tried running in them yet.) The retractable cord is a great feature. Except you have to remember to pull both ends at the same time or you will end up with a tangled cord. Trust me, that happened to me a few times. I love the fact that the cord has 5 stopping points so you can adjust the length. And the clip is great to prevent the cord from bouncing. I definitely love the overall look and function of the chicBuds.
Who said you couldn't look good while listening to music?
